Medicines in Practice is a new series of evidence–based publications specifically designed to support stakeholder Medicines Management services to maximise health gains through the optimum use of medicines by influencing and changing prescribing behaviour. When available, these publications will also highlight examples of work done by other medicines management teams to allow knowledge and expertise to be shared across stakeholders, reducing duplication of effort and facilitating best and equitable use of limited resources. As of June 2012, the Medicines in Practice series will replace the Briefing and Hot Topics series.
